LG V30 is becoming official on August 31, just a day before IFA 2017 at Berlin kicks off, that's already old news at this point. It is also speculated that the LG V30 camera phone will have the ratio of 18:9 that will be created to cover DCI-P3 colour space up to 109 per cent. Tech Radar reported that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and LG V30 Plus will go on sale on three local carriers on September 15, making it hard for customers to narrow down to a single device.

When Apple and Samsung add "Plus" to the name of the smartphone, they mean that the version of the device is larger.

According to a report by ETNews, LG plans to announce a "Plus" variant of the V30 alongside the standard variant during the IFA 2017 event in August.

It's a long shot for LG to go up against Samsung in a flagship fight, but Samsung's Galaxy Note ship was stumped when the Galaxy Note 7 rocked it. Samsung might be doing damage control, but LG doesn't seem to be wasting an opportunity here. The V30 display can also feature an inset camera similar to the one seen on the essential phone.

Other than that, the devices may also differ in their "audio system" and "wireless charging". While the LG V30 is pegged to have a price of $700, the LG V30 Plus will cost about $875.

Wall Street falls as investors flee risk on North Korea concerns
The Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.2 percent to 3,273.71 and Hong Kong's Hang Seng was off 0.2 percent at 27,803.55. The 30-year bond US30YT=RR last rose 5/32 in price to yield 2.8107 percent, from 2.818 percent late on Wednesday.

Presumably, the LG V30 will carry 64GB of internal storage and the LG V30 Plus will have 128GB of storage space.

The price of the LG V30 Plus expected to be higher too.

The sad and bad part of latest reports is that DeccanChronicel has reported that the LG V30 Plus smartphone might only be available for sale exclusively in #South Korea.

Meanwhile, both smartphones will reportedly both feature a 6-inch OLED display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor under the hood.

LG did the same with the LG G6, with the LG G6 Plus offering more storage and some improvements such as better audio quality, additional colors, and B&O headphones included in the box.
