Boro have sealed the signing of Republic of Ireland global goalkeeper Darren Randolph. The 30-year-old arrives from West Ham United in a £5m transfer, and signs a four-year contract.

He is now third choice behind Joe Hart, who will be expected to start as first choice after he recently joined the club on loan from Manchester City, and Adrian.

He is desperate to play regular football to stay in global manager Martin O'Neill's plans ahead of next summer's World Cup and did not want a likely lack of game time at West Ham next season to jeopardise his No 1 position with Ireland.

Joe Hart's loan move to West Ham United was part of a hectic week for the Hammers, as they also announced the permanent acquisition of Javier Hernandez.

But the second is that if enough Pokemon are caught worldwide, a legendary Pokemon will appear specifically in Chicago. There will even be activities based in Chester Castle, which is open to the public for the first time in 20 years.

The move has now been confirmed by both clubs, Randolph switching to the Riverside Stadium for a fee of £5m.

'I am delighted to get it all signed and completed, ' Randolph told his new club's official website. Arriving here and see the facilities, it's definitely a Premier League club.

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic said: "I would like to thank Darren for his service to the Club over the past two years".

"Darren is a very good goalkeeper, and I didn't want him to leave".
