Simpson is finishing his sentence for armed robbery.

"My crime was trying to retrieve for my family my own property", Simpson told parole officials in a 2013 hearing concerning lesser charges.

"I was always a good guy", Simpson claimed. I did my time, I tried to be helpful to everybody. "I've done it as well and as respectfully as anybody can".

Aidan Bradley says nine years behind bars is enough in this case. I'd just like to get back to my family and friends.

The parole hearing is in Carson City, Nevada and Simpson needs four members of the board to vote to release him.

The man lowered his head nearly to the point that it could touch the table after the final verdict was read and thanked the parole board. "Basically, I've spent a conflict-free life". "I'm not a guy who's ever gotten in fights on the street".

President Trump previously told Fox News , "I can say that the people that have been hired are all Hillary Clinton supporters". Mueller is overreaching. "In my opinion, he shared it so that I would think he had it out there", Trump told the newspaper.

Simpson was convicted of armed robbery and kidnapping in October 2008 for his part in a September 2007 robbery committed in a Las Vegas casino hotel.

During his testimony, Mr. Simpson admitted his wrongdoing, but insisted the memorabilia he attempted to steal had belonged to him.

"I have four kids", Simpson said when a parole officer asked why he wanted out of prison. "I feel like at this point, he...obviously seems sorry for what he did". In one instance, she told the arriving officer she thought he would " kill me. "It wasn't worth it".

Simpson has said he will move back to Florida when he's released. Bruce Fromong, a victim of the robbery, spoke in support of Simpson. While the crime Simpson was actually convicted for may not have warranted a 33-year sentence, Gregg feels as though his past actions, including a history of violence, should have been taken into account by the parole board members.

Reaction to Simpson's release was mixed. Simpson was acquitted of the killings the next year, following an 11-month trial dubbed the "trial of the century".

Arnelle Simpson said her father was "remorseful" and she wants him to "come home".
