After staging the protest in Pune, Congress' activist didn't allow Madhur Bhandarkar, director of Indu Sarkar, to come out of the hotel for the press conference to be held in Nagpur.

The movie is set in the backdrop of the Emergency and has characters inspired by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and her son Sanjay Gandhi. Bhandarkar also tweeted to Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi asking him if he can have his freedom of expression. But by then he had already checked out of the hotel. After cancelling his press conference Madhur Bhandarkar tweeted along with a video to Rahul Gandhi's office by saying, "Dear @OfficeOfRG after Pune I have 2 cancels today's PressCon at Nagpur.Do you approve of this hooliganism?" "Can I have my Freedom of Expression?", wrote Bhandarkar on his Twitter handle on Sunday. "We, therefore, want to be certain that our leaders are not shown in bad light and hence, would like to see the film before it's censored", Nirupam mentioned, in a letter addressed to Nihalani. But, since 1pm, the local party workers had started a protest outside their hotel. "What is he hiding?" "Madhur Bhandarkar is trying all that he can for selling his film".

While the film has faced 16 cuts from the Censor Board, the director has attracted the wrath of the Congress workers over some portions of the film that they find objectionable.

'Spider-Man: Homecoming' delivers humor, adventure fun
Honestly, it would be hard for viewers to watch him portray the character without thinking of him as Peter Parker. Also, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield began dating after filming 2012's "The Amazing Spider-Man".

"Me and my actors are frightened, we are being threatened".

Bhandarkar has already clarified the accusations of maligning image of Indira Gandhi and other Congress leaders of the past by stating that he would've made documentary in that case and not a film. "We have cancelled promotions in Bangalore and Ahmedabad due to fear of agitation", he said.

"After a Pink', I wanted to do something with which people will get surprised again so, Indu Sarkar seemed as the flawless fit as it has Emergency as its backdrop".
