3 dead, 4 injured in shooting, chase in downtown Savannah

Police in Savannah, Georgia are investigating an overnight incident that resulted in three deaths. Someone inside the vehicle then fired several shots. That chase ended in a crash near the shooting scene.

Witness Jeffery Wilson tells WTOC-TV that he saw a white SUV, its headlights off, being chased by police.

"I heard about 7 to 10 shots ring out, and at that point I just laid down". The shooting happened in the City Market area.

Police report that 4 people were injured, including one person who showed up at a hospital later with non-life threatening injuries.

Laptop ban lifted on Emirates flights
USA and British officials carried out inspections of security measures at Ataturk Airport on Tuesday, Dogan reported. It comes after the US lifted the laptop ban on Sunday, July 2 for Etihad flights from Abu Dhabi to the U.S.

Another man witnessed the crash on Bay Street with his own eyes and gave us his account of what he saw.

One of the victims injured in the shooting is expected to be okay, the news station added.
