The third, Indonesia's Lion Mentari Airlines PT, announced an order for the 737 Max 10 on Monday, hours after Boeing formally launched the latest member of an aircraft family that has flown for a half century.

The Max 10 is the first new model from Boeing since the 777X series was unveiled in 20013 at an air show in Dubai. Boeing is relying on the Max 10 to stem customer defections to the A321neo, which has racked up a considerable order lead since its introduction three years ago.

Mauritania Airlines rounded out the 737 sales book for Wednesday, with an order for a single MAX 8.

Kuwait handed the list of collective demands to Doha on Thursday, according to the official Qatari news agency QNA. Qatar has called the demands unreasonable , and Erdogan has reinforced Turkey's support for the embattled emirate.

The contract includes global purchase coordination, deadline monitoring, plant material flow optimisation, warehousing, processing of aluminium and titanium products, as well as coordination of more than 550 Boeing and subcontractor production locations.

Separately, another Chinese carrier, Donghai Airlines, opted to convert an earlier order for 10 smaller Max jets to 10 Max 10s, as did Malaysia Airlines, while Panama's Copa Airlines converted an order for 15.

The breakdown of MAX variants was not released.

And in non-737 news, Israel's El Al has firmed up an existing commitment for Dreamliners, ordering two 787-8s and one 787-9.
