Speaking with Ars Technica this week, Nintendo's Charlie Scibetta said that the stock shortages "are definitely not intentional" adding that the company is making units as fast as it can in order to support all of the software releasing.
Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime recently did an interview with Waypoint, where he mentioned that there's big potential for other Wii U games to come to Switch. And, that is what the Switch is designed around. We've got that great pace of content, and I can tell you there's more to be announced. Charging is just part of life with the Switch, which is why it's spawned hundreds of power accessories, including this portable battery that looks like the most boring Switch game you can play.
That's probably why one of Nintendo's key, completely new games for the system is Arms, which essentially does for the fighting genre what Splatoon did for the shooter genre.
States Can't Exclude Churches From Grant Programs
The Colorado Supreme Court has blocked the program based on a Blaine-like, "no aid" provision in the state constitution. The church's application to resurface the playground for its preschool and daycare ranked fifth out of 44 applicants.
Fils-Aime went on to share how Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Pokken Tournament Deluxe filled that requirment, offering new characters and new, improved modes that weren't previously available. Some would say that this has always been Nintendo's agenda. Nintendo is expected to leverage its rich IP portfolio of characters and franchises for more successful games for smartphones and the Switch, while Sony's virtual reality offerings for the PlayStation 4, along with its television program production business, are tipped to drive profits at the conglomerate.
While this sounds like a welcome addition, we still don't know how the Nyko dock will perform or work in real-world circumstances. GameStop subsequently confirmed the news that Nintendo Switch is expected to be stocked up in their stores across the United States in the coming months.
