Italian global striker Mario Balotelli signed a new one-year deal with French Ligue 1 outfit Nice on Sunday after spearheading their qualification for the Champions League in his first season.
Mario Balotelli had an average shot accuracy of 69% in Ligue 1 last season.
The length of the contract remains a mystery as Nice didn't reveal how many years will run on Balotelli's new deal, however his salary is believed to have decreased to make him more affordable for the club.
Mario Balotelli has officially extended his contract at Nice, putting an end to speculation that he will join Borussia Dortmund.

Balotelli has played for several high-profile clubs throughout his career including Inter Milan, Manchester City, Liverpool and AC Milan, but he now seems very much at home at Nice.
Nice ended the campaign third in Ligue 1, their highest finish since 1976, securing a place in qualifying for next season's Champions League.
