Januzaj could be leaving after a disappointing loan spell with Sunderland.

Real Sociedad have struck terms with Manchester United for Adnan Januzaj.

The Belgian worldwide came to the spotlight on his Premier League debut against Sunderland in the David Moyes era.

The forward, who has struggled away on loan at Borussia Dortmund and Sunderland, is now set to join Sociedad this summer, according to France Football.

Januzaj, who has one year left on his contract, has made a total of 63 appearances during his time at Manchester United, scoring five times after joining United from Anderlecht as a youth player in 2011. This season, the winger spent his time at Sunderland and was extremely disappointing.

I'm glad it finished my way", added the Latvian who finished the tournament with 299 winners, more than any other woman or man. She also faced a 3-1 deficit in the deciding third set before taking the last five games.

He did however muster a goal in his one EFL Cup game of 2016-17 - in a 1-0 win over Shrewsbury. In the Premier League, the Belgian did not find the scoresheet but notched 3 assists.

With a year to run on his deal, Januzaj has been put up for sale by United this summer.

The club are considering a move for the winger considering United are prepared for him to leave. The talent is there, but the application appears not to be, and it's best that Januzaj gets a fresh start somewhere else.

The club is willing to let him go and Real Sociedad is likely his next destination. He has shown that he has the ability to become a great attacking player, but he now has to learn how to use his abilities.

After initially making an exciting breakthrough at Old Trafford, Januzaj's United career has tailed off dramatically which will be a huge disappointment to all concerned.
