Kashmir Reader's headline read, "Kashmir erupts in joy".
Following are five key moments that helped Pakistan win the Champions Trophy for the first time with a crushing 180-run victory over holders India at The Oval in London on Sunday.
The Rising Kashmir had a headline on the front page, "Crackers go off as Pak pulls off stunning win over India".
Fakhar hit 12 fours and three sixes before skying a catch off Hardik Pandya but Pakistan had the ideal platform to make the highest total in a Champions Trophy final. But Pandya's knock of 76 runs off 43 balls - including six sixes and four fours - earned him praise from the viewers and his own captain. We have no hesitation or shame to admit we didn't play our best game today.
Chasing 339, India's top-order were undone by some brilliant bowling from Mohammad Amir who dismissed the in-form trio of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Shikhar Dhawan.
In his column for the International Cricket Council (ICC) website, the swashbuckling all-rounder cautioned other cricketing nations to not take the Green Brigade lightly as on their day they have the potential to outshine any good side.
"They were more intense and passionate today, they deserved to win".
Macron under-fire aide quits French government for "strategic" parliament post
The new intake of lawmakers has very little political experience - 425 of the 577 have never been members of parliament. Macron's centrists easily beat the traditional left and right parties that have led the National Assembly for decades.
"We're all really disappointed that we didn't play better in that semi-final. The way they turned things around speaks volumes for the talent they have in their side", Kohli said.
"It says a lot about his personality. but what I do know is that Mohamed Amir is a big-match player", said Arthur.
"And then we just showed great, great character and I am really happy because it's all for the nation of Pakistan because they've been waiting for such a long time".
"We want to be a little more consistent as a team but we've got a group of players here who are fantastic".
"We just had to keep believing. they kept on believing, trusting their roles (and) trusting the game-plan that "Saffy" (Sarfraz) and I had set up", said Arthur for whom this was a first major tournament success after spells in charge of both his native South Africa and Australia. "So, to watch some of these really stellar performances, lovely performances, by some of these young cricket stars, who have been unheard of before this tournament - to watch them mature throughout the games, and to watch the team peak at just the right moment, to bring home the trophy, was like a dream come true for all of us".
The ICC side was selected by a panel that included former captains Michael Atherton (England), Sourav Ganguly (India) and Ramiz Raja (Pakistan) as well as the Editor of Wisden, Lawrence Booth, and AFP cricket reporter Julian Guyer, with the ICC's general manager of cricket, Geoff Allardice, the chairman.
