After this second major Shadow of the Tomb Raider leak, it's looking more and more likely that the game does indeed exist.

The Tomb Raider sequel has yet to be officially confirmed by Square Enix, but logos and early art sketches from marketing studio Takeoff Creative, reveals some interesting tidbits about the game.

It was always inevitable that Rise of the Tomb Raider would get a follow-up, and nearly as inevitable that it'd be called "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" (games with "shadow" in the title are popular, you see).

Team New Zealand emerged battle-hardened from its challenger final win over Artemis and still had days to fine-tune the boat. Spithill was over the starting line early, forcing him to drop two boat lengths behind to clear the penalty.

This is the second significant leak for the game - the first involved a reported Square Enix employee visibly working on files relating to the game in public. The cached version of that page can be found here. However, the latest alleged leak looks a lot more believable.

As far as new information, there isn't a ton to go on from the these assets. We can also see her wielding a whip, a machete, and a spear, as well as her customary bow. Also, the artwork is not specific enough to indicate where the game will be set.Check out the artwork below.

What do you expect from the next game in the Tomb Raider franchise? I was surprised Shadow of the Tomb Raider didn't appear at E3 last week, but in any case, I think it's safe to say it'll come eventually. According to OPM UK, "Rumor squirrels tell us Shadow of the Tomb Raider could be released early in 2018". Let us know in the comments.
