That can easily extend into the betting market, as game 4 of the NBA Finals demonstrated.

With the NBA Finals Game 5 hours away, social media was buzzing about the prospects of Golden State becoming NBA champions Monday night, and about Cleveland possibly forcing a Game 6 later this week. Golden State's offense still managed to score 68 first-half points, their highest total in any half in the Finals, but yet trailed by 18 at halftime.

"When you have home court ideally you take care of business at home and get a split on the road".

With 45 seconds remaining in a game the Cavaliers had led by 11 points, a Kevin Durant three-pointer gave the Warriors a seemingly unassailable 3-0 series lead.

"No, I feel this is the game we've got to get", he said, "or it's over". The Big 3 combined for 94 whopping points, Tristan Thompson awoke from his three game slumber and played with strength and energy, and J.R. Smith continued to shoot well.

"By understanding how complex basketball is, you have to enjoy the simplicity of it, too", Irving said. It's emotional. It's possibly the last game of the season, so you definitely don't want to give up anything easy.

"They're coming right after us, so we have to get after them", he said.

Instead, it turned out to be the beginning of an epic collapse, one that still hangs over his team - and this series - a full year later.

"Playing with more pace".

"If you don't do something well, they will make you pay for it, so we have to be 20 times better in this building and we understand that..."

Much of the work guarding the Warriors' "Splash Brothers" will fall to Cavs guard Kyrie Irving.

"Wonder Woman" trounces "The Mummy" at weekend box office
Overall, the summer to date has been a disaster for studios, with only Wonder Woman and Guardians breaking out as bona fide hits. This weekend's tallies are as much a victory for " Wonder Woman " as they are a defeat for the critically derided " Mummy ".

"F-- begging for it", Jefferson said. As a competitor, he wants to win. "We look forward to the challenge".

"We're in a great spot and now we have to capitalize", Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. So fans with the best seats at Game 5 in California tonight could be sitting near the celebrity family if the Kardashians show up again.

And while fans have undoubtedly enjoyed the trilogy, many will be glad when the league is a tad more unpredictable...

"I expect us to come out guns blazing".

Ready for Cavaliers to aim and launch, as they did in raining a Finals-record 24 3-pointers in Game 4.

"He has made a lot of contested shots".

"Obviously it wasn't his night", Kerr said. "Just try to make it tough on him". That's the biggest thing.

Irving, 25, feels contact after almost every shot now. I am glad I watched it, and I hope you did too. Most notably, he hasn't scored fewer than 31 points in any NBA Finals contest.

But if the Cavaliers manage to win Game 5, that pressure will absolutely begin to shift towards the Warriors.
