Defense attorneys also could bring up phone calls between Cosby and Constand and her mother, some of which were taped.
Constand said that, after she took the pills, Cosby led her to the couch and she lost consciousness. "It's really not my place to speak on that", she said.
She said she also feared what Cosby might do. She says he also apologized. To learn more about her, here is our Andrea Constand wiki.
"He was sorry that you were upset", defense lawyer Angela Agrusa said, providing an alternate explanation for Cosby's apology. "D$3 efense attorneys have proof, including Constand's later interviews with police, in which she describes private meals with the entertainer before January 2004 and a visit to his hotel room at a CT casino".
"I was leaving in a month, and I did not want to stir up any trouble, and for it to look negative to not talk with a trustee", Constand said.
"Well", Constand calmly replied, "You just summed it up".
"I was mistaken", she said, unflustered.
Cosby is charged with aggravated indecent assault.
Agrusa went through phone records that showed Constand's calls to Cosby after the alleged incident.
On one of those occasions, she said, Cosby tried to unbutton her trousers but she told him, "I'm not here for that".
She met him when she ran operations for the women's basketball team at Philadelphia's Temple University (of which Cosby is an alumnus and donor) in 2002. Temple is Cosby's alma mater, and he was a powerful trustee there at the time. Constand has said neither of those assertions was correct.

"I wasn't able to", Constand said.
Cosby's lawyer, Angela Agrusa, focused not on the details of the alleged assault but on other aspects of Constand's narrative, including discrepancies in several police interviews Constand gave in 2005 when she made a decision to report the crime a year later. Constand said the calls to her university-issued cellphone pertained to Temple women's basketball, and stopped once she left the school.
While on the stand, Andrea Constand was asked why she stayed in contact with the accused. She said Cosby offered her a muffin and tea, and then she drove herself home.
After answering questions for more than an hour on Tuesday from the prosecution about the events of the alleged encounter, the defense continued its cross examination of the prosecution's key witness.
Constand testified Wednesday that wasn't the case. "Of course she was calling him back". He fell asleep and she left the room, she testified. At his home one evening in 2004, he pressed her to take three blue pills, which he said were herbal and would help her relax, she said. They are your friends. "They'll take the edge off", she recalled Cosby telling her. "I trusted him. I wasn't scared of him in any way". She viewed him like a father. "I felt his hand inside my vagina, moving in and out". "I wanted guidance and I wanted to protect myself because I felt that if I went to the police that Mr. Cosby would retaliate and try to hurt me".
Constand's testimony represents the first time she has spoken out publicly about the incident. She testified she let Cosby know she wasn't interested in his advances.
The dramatic scene was more than a dozen years in the making. She sued in civil court, and Cosby settled the case in 2006. The defense has argued the two had a romantic relationship, that Constand wasn't incapacitated and that the sexual encounter was consensual.
She hopes to show Constand changed her mind about the date of the alleged 2004 assault after reviewing them. But Constand perhaps blunted the attack by saying she got confused and initially thought the episode happened in March 2004.
Constand continued: "Mr. Cosby ... laid me down". "It was a lot of confusion putting a lot of dates together".
Andrea Constand emerged from 12 years of silence Tuesday to testify at Cosby's sexual assault trial.

Through the latter he turned the lives of an upper-middle-class African-American family into a groundbreaking TV sitcom. In later years, Cosby became somewhat of a public moralizer, speaking out against what he saw as the failings of the African-American community in raising children. The jurors, who were selected in Allegheny County in an effort to ensure a fair trial, will be sequestered in the criminal trial for about two weeks, the lawyers in the case have predicted.
