Man arrested in Rusholme as police investigate Manchester Arena bombing

Police have arrested 18 people in connection with the investigation but seven have since been released without charge.

(CNN) - Police arrested a 24-year-old man Friday night in southern Manchester, part of the investigation into last week's suicide bombing that killed 22 people at a Ariana Grande concert in the northern English city.

British police have lifted a cordon in the center of Manchester and seized a auto on Friday which they said could be potentially significant to their investigation into last week's suicide bombing in the city.

Six people have since been released without charge.

Suicide bomber Salman Abedi killed 22 and injured dozens more at the concert, last month.

Police investigating the Manchester suicide bombing evacuated an area of the city yesterday after finding a vehicle that may have been used by Salman Abedi as he prepared for his attack.

Peter Mann, whose daughter Jaden was injured in the attack, posted several photos of Grande and the youngster on Facebook.

Grande returned to Britain on Friday ahead of the One Love Manchester concert on to benefit victims.

He wrote he was so happy, "i could burst!"
