This year at E3 Microsoft showed off Dragon Ball FighterZ, a new 3v3 fighter coming to Xbox One, Windows and Xbox One X. The trailer showed off series favorites Goku, Frieza, Vegeta, Cell and even Kid Buu.

The game is now in development over at Arc Systemworks and is set for release in "early 2018". Find out on the next episode of Dragon... er, never mind! It's a 2D three-on-three fighter with cel shaded graphics and 3D character models that are more reminiscent of the anime's style. Its recent Guilty Gear Xrd games, which dynamically shift between the two, look incredible, and FighterZ appears to take that to another level with its infusion of Dragon Ball Z craziness and three-on-three battles.
