An NHRC delegation headed by Dr Al Marri will visit global human rights organisations in European capitals, starting with Brussels, to address the serious human rights violations against Qatari and non-Qatari citizens, where a detailed report on the cases observed will be delivered to them.

Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and other countries severed diplomatic ties with Qatar earlier this week and cut off air, sea and land travel to the peninsular nation.

Ulrichsen went even further on this point, raising the issue of what Federation Internationale de Football Association might do about a World Cup host that has been accused of facilitating terrorism, particularly as United States President Donald Trump appears to have made his mind up that Qatar is in the wrong. We have to stop the funding of terrorism.

The British military footprint in Qatar is far smaller than that of the USA - it has more personnel in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, where it has a new naval base - but it is key for co-ordinating the RAF operations against Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

Qatar is home to the largest USA airbase in the Mideast.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry accused on Monday Qatar of sheltering leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood movement, outlawed in Russian Federation, as well as disseminating the ideology of Daesh and al-Qaeda terror groups, both banned in Russian Federation.

He's been the difference between the Cavaliers winning the championship in 2016 and being in position to get swept a year later. The Warriors popped champagne inside the bowels of Quicken Loans Arena in 2015, having clinched the series in six games.

Qatar's leader will not accept an invitation from U.S. President Donald Trump to attend mediation talks in Washington on a row in the region while the country remains cut off from its neighbours, a Qatari official said on Thursday. Mr Putin has probably offered help as a mediator; unlike Mr Trump, who tweeted his approval of the Saudi action against Qatar, the Russian leader hasn't taken an official stand on the conflict.

"All this puts everyone in a hard position, including the United States, because Qatar hosts the biggest American air base in the region". While one can argue that it's a double-standard situation, in this case Saudis had more powerful allies than Qatar did. The base, which boasts one of the longest runways in the Middle East, is a strategically important facility for the US-led coalition and is home to 10,000 U.S. personnel.

With the help of US sales of weapons and other military equipment, Saudis could significantly boost their role and influence in the region, while Qatar's role would be shrinking on a pro rata basis.

President Trump urged Gulf unity in a call to Saudi Arabia's King Salman, US officials said on Wednesday. With a reduced shortage of workers, with many originating from Egypt, materials can also no longer enter the country through Saudi Arabia.

While Turkey has said that it is ready to resolve the dispute, Iran has said that it will provide food to Qatar.

"I have heard rumours and a couple of articles suggesting military invasion, but Qatar has a fine history of regime change on its own". The four nations accused Doha of supporting terrorist organizations such as the Islamic state group (ISIS), Muslim Brotherhood and al Qaeda as they announced the removal of diplomatic staff from Qatar.

Qatar has backed Islamist movements but strongly denies supporting terrorism.
