Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's elder Hussain Nawaz on Friday said he now has no intention to contest election.
While referring to his brother, Hasan Nawaz, he said that it was his brother's personal decision not to speak to media following his appearances before the JIT.
Hussain Nawaz said a political party is behind the baseless allegations against Prime Minister's family. "My family has always come forward for accountability and believes in supremacy of the rule of law, [however] it apparently seems like I will not be summoned again", Hussain said.
Hussain Nawaz said the investigating team would not be able to prove anything against him as there was no evidence of wrongdoing.
This is the premier's elder son's fifth appearance before the high-profile probe team in less than two weeks.
"We are cooperating with the JIT and will continue to do so despite some concerns", he told reporters outside the Federal Judicial Academy.
Kirmani apprised media personnel that Sharif family went through "merciless accountability" during Musharraf's era.
Footage shows last moments of London attack
Butt, 27, embraced radical Islam during his time in London and was once filmed in a documentary called " The Jihadis Next Door ". Authorities have not yet found evidence others in the United Kingdom knowingly helped Abedi plan his attack, the sources said.
He also called for making a JIT against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan.
Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that PTI had started a judicial war against the government, adding that political quarrels should be held on political grounds.
On Thursday, Hassan Nawaz, the younger son of PM Nawaz, appeared before the JIT for the second time and recorded his statement during the investigation that lasted for nearly five-and-a-half hours.
It is worth mentioning here that the JIT has been given sixty days to probe the Sharif family's properties and the money trail behind it as part of the verdict announced in the Panama Papers case.
Hussain moved the Supreme Court against the photo leak after which the top court sought a reply from members of Joint Investigation Team as to who was behind the leakage of a screen grab from the CCTV camera.
The high-profile probe has been marred by several controversies recently.
Meanwhile, former chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry wrote separate letters to the Supreme Court registrar and the secretary interior to provide sufficient security to JIT members and SC judges in the backdrop of recent statement by various PML-N leaders. However, those objections were not entertained by the court.
