Donald Trump Rage Tweets Against Media For Taking Seriously His Tweets

Trump's comment tracked with Republican talking points about the hearing, where the Republican National Committee and White House urged surrogates to emphasize the fact that Comey clearly said the President was never an explicit subject of the Russian Federation probe during his time at the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Comey testified at a Senate hearing that he made memos after speaking to Trump on several occasions because he feared the president would lie about them.

If President Trump had let the investigation develop as other presidents have done in the past, it seems unlikely to have reached him. But some Trump aides refused to acknowledge that reality. The president and his aides have complained about leaks, purportedly from the intelligence community, throughout the investigations by the FBI and Congress into Russia's meddling in the 2016 US presidential elections and the Trump campaign's contact with Russian officials. The media does not want Trump to stop tweeting-his staff does. But, she said, he was wrong to leak his notes to the public and should have given that document to her panel.

Comey said he refused on all points, told senators of the detailed memos he had written after his conversations with Trump and said he hoped those conversations were taped because he is confident of their veracity.

Comey, who was sacked by Trump in May, did not make any major disclosures about any links between Trump or his associates and alleged Russian meddling.

Trump has remained relatively media shy since the Justice Department tapped former FBI Director Robert Mueller to be the special counsel looking into Russia's meddling into the 2016 election and the Trump campaign's possible ties to it.

Trump's decision to weigh in personally on Comey's testimony represented a sharp shift in strategy for the White House and could come with political risk for Trump, who has potentially undermined himself legally on other matters through his tweets, including his attempt to impose a "travel ban" on immigrants from some majority-Muslim countries.

The violence started on Tuesday when the terrorists ambushed government troops who were moving in to raid the hideout of Hapilon in the city.

Now, Tapper - and every other reporter with a Republican lawmaker who supports Trump on the other end of the microphone - can counter: "Yeah, but, this was an official statement by the White House".

Comey said he felt uncomfortable with the nature of his personal meetings with Trump, including a private dinner at the White House.

"I would be glad to tell him exactly what I just told you", Trump told a reporter.

Trump's tweets are like a direct link to what he's thinking.

"Despite so many false statements and lies, total and complete vindication", Trump wrote, suggesting that Comey had committed perjury.
