The cast of the sequel to 2014's Godzilla is growing on par with the big beast himself. The site also reports that Sally Hawkins is coming back to reprise her 2014 Godzilla role as Dr. Vivienne Graham.
It was announced today that Daddy Lannister, Charles Dance from HBO's Game of Thrones, has joined the cast of writer/director Michael Dougherty's Godzilla: King Of The Monsters. (Straight Outta Compton), Vera Farmiga (Bates Motel), Aisha Hinds (Star Trek Into Darkness), Charles Dance (Game of Thrones), and the returning Sally Hawkins and Ken Watanabe. Hopefully we'll have more on Godzilla 2 soon. That being said, there's room for growth amongst the roster of kaiju - thus far, only five classic kaiju have been confirmed to exist in the MonsterVerse: Godzilla, King Kong, Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah, and of those, we've only seen two of them in action.

As of the time of writing, the only details known about the plot of the movie are that Kyle - who is no stranger to legendary creatures, having previously starred in monster based sci-fi movies "Super 8" and "King Kong" - will play a scientist who acts as the hero. It will also be a good steppingstone for building the Legendary and Warner Bros cinematic universe that bumps together monsters in their own origin movies, like Kong: Skull Island, in preparation for 2020's monster movie bash, Godzilla vs Kong.
