All Blacks boss Steve Hansen has tipped his side's 2019 Rugby World Cup pool clash with South Africa to be one of the matches of the tournament and inspire proceedings in Japan to new heights.

Ireland have been pooled with Scotland at the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

New Zealand, now top of the global rankings, may be expected to win Group B where they are placed with South Africa and Italy.

Three-time victor New Zealand and South Africa are familiar foes, having already played each other 93 times, with the All Blacks winning 55 of those matches.

The current World Champions have been drawn in Pool B along with 1995 World Cup winners South Africa, six-time World Cup rivals Italy, the victor of Africa 1 and the Repechage winners from the qualifying tournament.

"It's all very exciting, we have two Tests against Argentina in June so we can practice a little bit", said Jones.

Gatland, who succeeded Gareth Jenkins as head coach in 2007, is contracted to Wales until after the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

Eddie Jones is using his inside knowledge of Japan to help England secure a training base.

"Across the board teams perform at their best at the World Cup and South Africa are a team that with a couple more years of what they're trying to achieve, with their coach and different things that they've got going on, will be a much more unsafe side".

Japan will become the first Asian country to host the World Cup, a move which aims to ignite rugby passion around the region.

Instead, they'll probably draw Pool A victor Ireland in the last eight, which any fan will tell you is an easier proposition than having to play New Zealand. You can look in two ways - it's a hard pool or it's a great pool - but you've just go to get through it.

If that's the case the victor of Pool B and victor Pool C will be aligned on the same side of the knockout draw - meaning a potential meeting against England in the semifinals.

#Australia thrashed Wales 32-8 at their home Millennium stadium in Cardiff previous year and also beat them in pool play during the last World Cup in England, part of a 12-match winning streak against the Welsh dating back to 2007. We are going to have to play a number of different ways against different teams and we have got to cope with it.

Reigning world champions New Zealand will take on South Africa and Italy in Pool B.

Japan shocked the World Cup by upsetting South Africa 34-32 on the opening weekend, but had to face Scotland just four days later.

"To win the World Cup, you have to win seven games".

Australia will face Wales again in 2019, with both sides selected in Pool D alongside Georgia.

"I am sure it will be called the Pool of Death and it is a tough-looking pool but we have two years until the tournament and you use that time to target the first game", said Wilkinson, speaking on behalf of Land Rover.
