More sharks were spotted off a southern California beach Wednesday. A shark advisory is issued when "there is a confirmed sighting of a non-aggressive shark".
The sharks, all juveniles and all great whites, were seen swimming about 50 yards from the beach, drawing a crowd of onlookers - some even wading into the water to get a closer look. "They have not acted in any sort of threatening behavior". Sharks sometimes attack defensively, when a human has strayed into their waters, or accidentally, when they mistake a human for their preferred meal. He told The Times that the sharks are believed to be juvenile great whites.
Lifeguards "are advising that you exit the water in a calm manner".

The school of sharks was spotted by Orange County Sheriff's Duke 1 helicopter around 1:30 p.m. Jason Young, Orange County's lifeguards chief, said they received two reports of shark sightings in the Capistrano Beach area, the OC Register reported.
The shark advisory was put in place Wednesday and will be put in effect until further notice, Long Beach Fire Department officials said.
