Chris Berman's Wife Kathy Dies In Car Crash

Sportscaster Chris Berman and his family remembered his wife Kathy as having a "huge heart", in a statement released a day after she was killed in CT auto crash.

Bertulis' Ford Escape struck a utility pole and landed on its roof in the street.

"This is a devastating tragedy and hard to comprehend", ESPN president John Skipper said in a statement on Wednesday.

Kathy Berman, then Alexinski, met Chris Berman when he faked vehicle trouble to ask her for help, and then to go to breakfast with him.

Kathy, 67, was killed Tuesday when her Lexus rear-ended another vehicle near Woodbury.
