It is finally judgment day for Abby Lee Miller.
Miller was also accused of dividing $120,000 Australian into separate plastic bags so friends could carry her money in their luggage when traveling into the United States in August 2014, People reported.
Reality TV personality Abby Lee Miller, of "Dance Moms", leaves her federal bankruptcy fraud sentencing hearing in Pittsburgh on Monday, May 8, 2017. "I can only assure you that I will never be in front of a court again". Authorities discovered evidence that she tried to hide $775,000 in income from Dance Moms, her spinoff series, and other franchise-related businesses. They are seeking 2.5 years of prison time.
"Throughout this case, Ms. Miller has taken both the allegations and the proceedings very seriously", her attorney, Robert Ridge, said in June. According to the Pittsburgh-Post Gazette, she did not disclose that she had a contract for the Lifetime show in the reorganization plan she submitted to the court. She filmed seasons through 7b before writing a post on social media saying goodbye to her old life.
"I don't have a problem working with any kid, I love children and have dedicated my life to making other people's children successful!"
Miller's attorney told PEOPLE, "I can confirm that the studio was scheduled for sale for unpaid taxes".
Bank of England keeps rates at record low as economy slows
After solid performance earlier in the week, the Pound dropped following Thursday's Bank of England (BoE) news. However, the Bank also warned that rates may have to rise sooner and faster than the market now expects.
As for Miller herself, she is more than willing to take the blame for her actions. "I have to stay busy". She admitted that she is terrified of being raped or abused. I think the good, clean, and solid programs are actually solid community builders but for all the good ones there are a bunch of crappy outlets that just want your money. But, for now, "It's out of my hands".
Miller lashed out at the show's team on Instagram shortly after deciding to leave.
"Somehow you got caught up in this world of fame and got sidetracked", the judge told her, "and you lost your moral compass".
At this time, it's unclear when Miller will start serving her sentence. The judge said the sentence reflects a need to enforce respect for the bankruptcy process and the law. The prison sentence also includes a fine of $40,000.
She is expected to serve nine months in a Los Angeles-area facility and two years of supervised release.
"'Dance Moms' became a hit and I became the laughing stock of reality TV", she told the judge in court on Tuesday. After her sentence, she will spend two years on probation.
