Arsene Wenger's side will come into the game against the Saints in buoyant mood after dispatching Manchester United 2-0 in their previous fixture, but will be wary against a Southampton side that have found ways to beat them in their last two visits.
Arsenal boosted their slim hopes of clinching a top four spot, after goals from Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud secured a 2-0 win over Southampton.
That win kept Arsenal in the hunt for the top four, with the Gunners now six points behind Manchester City, with this game in hand, and seven points adrift of Liverpool, with two games in hand. Catch the highlights on Sky Sports 1 at 10.30pm BST and again at 11.30pm BST.
The goal came after a boring first half where Southampton had the better chances to score first, but Arsenal controlled the game after going ahead. The Saints looked more unsafe than they did at the weekend against Liverpool, with James Ward-Prowse, Cedric and Nathan Redmond all playing balls into the box in the opening exchanges. "We know we can only win our games, and we had a strong performance on Sunday [against Manchester United] and a strong performance today, so let's just continue".
Giroud settled the contest with a late header and Wenger admitted the form of his frontmen has left him with a selection headache.
"I feel sorry for him on that front", Wenger said on Tuesday.
Wenger's future will also play out over the next few weeks as they are in the FA Cup final and must win their last four games starting at Southampton tonight to stand a chance of getting into the top four. "We have to sit down together and see if he has a reasonable chance to play or not next season", he said.

Murphy said Tillerson was quite emphatic about the need to stop these activities to give the talks a good chance of succeeding. Security Council resolutions regarding sanctions, because no one has ever fully implemented those".
They are now sixth with 63 points from 34 games and can close the gap with a win at Southampton on Wednesday.
Wenger confirmed former Southampton man Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was forced off in the first half with a hamstring problem - but is hoping it was mainly fatigue for the England global.
Neither side looked like scoring in the opening 20 minutes of the second half.
It was Sanchez's cross that Aaron Ramsey headed back across goal for Giroud to nod in the visitors' second goal in the 83rd minute.
"If we can not score with all these situations it is hard to win a game".
Saints boss Claude Puel made just one change to his side from the goalless draw at Anfield, with Nathan Redmond brought into the attack at the expense of Sofiane Boufal.
