Diego Costa and Chelsea restored their seven-point lead atop the Premier League with a 4-2 triumph against Southampton.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has said that he is "confident" of his side's chances of winning the Premier League title following their 4-2 victory over Southampton this evening.
Spain worldwide Costa has been struggling for form of late and has not scored for Chelsea since early March, a run of seven games.
Gary Cahill missed the Spurs game following gastroenteritis, but trained on Sunday and Monday and could return for a Chelsea side with no other fitness concerns.
But for the first time in over a month, his team have an opportunity to put pressure on Tottenham by playing before them, with Spurs crossing London to face Crystal Palace on Wednesday.
"I think it was very important, otherwise we'd have gone into the changing-room at 1-1", Conte said.
And the 26-year-old, who scored his 15th goal of the season against Tottenham on Saturday in FA cup semi-final, will be influential for the Blues.
"I think it was a good game for us, without being clinical".

Head coach Antonio Conte is likely to recall Diego Costa and Eden Hazard after leaving them out for the FA Cup semi-final win over Tottenham.
Hazard came off the bench to devastating effect at Wembley at the weekend, scoring the Blues' crucial third goal before teeing up Nemanja Matic's late thunderbolt.
