Robertson was suspended from the team after the incident on Sunday, April 9, according to the Detroit Free Press.

"W$3 e will continue to educate and enforce high standards for the program". The student who said she was sexually assaulted reported what happened, and the university has two investigations ongoing. That player is now identified as Robertson.

Meridian Township confirmed last week that it was investigating the complaint and that an unnamed Michigan State football player was involved. "It is not appropriate at this time for me to comment further on this matter".

Robertson entered a diversionary program for those charges last March and finished his probation last month.

Curtis Blackwell, the team's director of college advancement and performance, has been placed on paid leave. The prosecutor's office has yet to make a decision on whether or not it will charge any of those players with a crime.
