This would be a more interesting experience since watchers can also take a look at other things, such as the flurry of ground activity within the Space Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida.
The capsule carries 7,626 pounds of cargo going to the International Space Station, including food, clothes, equipment and experiments for the crew on board the station. He has worked at the Kennedy Space Center for almost four decades and served as the commentator for such memorable launches as Hubble, Cassini, Mars Pathfinder, the Spirit, Opportunity and Curiosity rovers and the final space shuttle mission.
Cygnus is also carrying 38 CubeSats as part of the NanoRacks QB50 program.
The Cygnus ship is named for John Glenn, who rode into orbit on one of the original Atlas rockets in 1962, Florida Today reported.
The shipper, Orbital ATK, asked Glenn's widow, Annie, for permission to use his name for the spacecraft, following his December death.
NASA will be broadcasting the world's first 360-degree livestream of a rocket launch for Tuesday's event.
Hernandez's lawyer vows own death investigation
Authorities say Hernandez tried to block the cell door from the inside by jamming the door with various items. Some Patriots players meant to skip the White House visit because they oppose Trump's presidency.
The four fisheye-lens cameras are located at the periphery of the pad, about 300 feet (100 metres) from the rocket.
Now for the bad news: The most hyped angle of the event was the first-ever 360-degree live stream of a rocket launch, provided via NASA's YouTube channel. A computer in a blast-proof box will stitch together the images for a full, in-the-round view. But the time-delayed signal stopped at about the T-minus-4-minute mark, and didn't come back until after the rocket had departed.
An Atlas V rocket boosted an Orbital ATK cargo ship into orbit this morning (April 18), setting the stage for the spacecraft's belated but welcome arrival at the International Space Station on Saturday. It will be Orbital ATK's eighth mission to the International Space Station.
The supplies on Tuesday's launch include components for a scientific experiment called Saffire-III, short for "Spacecraft Fire Experiment III".
"While in space, after traveling a safe distance from the station, the fire is lit and data is collected before re-entering the Earth's atmosphere", said a statement from NASA.
