Texas governor gives first clear support for 'bathroom bill'

It's only a temporary fix, but a bill approved in the Colorado House on Monday may bring some needed help for the state's poorest residents to get health care coverage over the next year.

The law would require certifications and permits for physicians, growers and dispensaries. It's passed through both houses.

"They can do that now, no question about it, but there's nothing specific in statute that allows them to set that condition", he said.

"There have been many, many bills proposed, but it's never had a hearing, so this is a major step forward to end prohibition", said Melissa Villar, with NORML Tallahassee.
