Five days ago, Hernandez was acquitted of double murder charges in the shooting deaths of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado in July 2012.
Last Friday, Hernandez was acquitted in the deadly 2012 drive-by shootings of two men in Boston.
Hernandez's former agent, Brian Murphy, said on Twitter that he did not believe the athlete had killed himself.
Eldridge has submitted a bill calling for the state to form a special commission to study why so many inmates commit suicide, with the aim of developing ways to reduce the number of deaths.
Hernandez was convicted in 2015 of murdering Lloyd and sentenced to life in prison.
"For all intent and practical purposes, Aaron Hernandez will die an innocent man, but the court of public opinion may think differently", said Healy. A spokesperson for the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center said officials were not aware of a suicide note written by Hernandez, but stressed that the investigation was ongoing, according to the Boston Herald.
Shockingly, it's Aaron's apparent suicide which will clear his name.

Prison officials say the Hernandez was in a single cell in a general population housing unit at the Souza Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley, Massachusetts They say he hanged himself using a bed sheet that he attached to a cell window. They also found the cell door "jammed with various items".
