The South Korean company unveiled the G6 smartphone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February. The smartphone offers 4GB of RAM and comes in two storage variants: 32GB and 64GB. The premium smartphone succeeded the G5, which didn't fare well in the market. In terms of dimensions, the G6 measures 7.9mm thick and weighs in at 163 grams. It will also be the first smartphone to support Dolby Vision featuring a support for HDR 10 as well. The smartphone packs a glass and metal back. Having water and dust resistance, the device also has a proprietary heat dissipation technology. The device comes loaded with a dual-camera setup at the back which consists of a 13-megapixel wide angle lens with aperture f/2.4 and 125-degree view and a 13-megapixel standard camera with f/1.8 and standard optical Image stabilisation (OIS). It is backed up by a 3,300 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. This time, however, they are both the 13-megapixel shooter. The LG G6 will face tough competition from the Samsung Galaxy S8 which also comes with a similar near bezel-less design and an ultra wide screen ratio.

LG is yet to make an official announcement date for the launch of LG G6. The smartphone runs on latest LG UX 6.0 built on top of Android 7.0 Nougat with Google Assistant. There is a 5 MP front facing camera which has a 100-degree field of view which provides wide-angle selfies. In the U.S., the G6 costs $650 (or approx Rs 41,922).
