Today, in order to promote tomorrow's release of Episode One of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series known as "Tangled Up in Blue", the title's developers have released an official launch trailer that provides some details about the initial installment's story.

There is also a physical Season Pass Disc available at retail, but only for PS4 and Xbox One.

The trailer shows that the Nova Corps is recruiting the Guardians to stop Thanos, who has plans to spread his evil across the galaxy. The game will include the first episode, with the four subsequent ones available for download via updates as soon as they're released. This is the first time it's tackling a Marvel property though, and it'll be interesting to see its take on Guardians of the Galaxy. Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot will face-off with Thanos and who knows what else in a battle that somehow leads to the recovery of a "relic" of great power.

Not after his Los Angeles Clippers lost to the Utah Jazz on a heart-breaking buzzer-beater in Game 1 of their first-round matchup. Griffin was asked if the Clippers' game plan was thrown off course because it had been so devoted to having Gobert in the game.

As seen below in the launch trailer for the game's first entry courtesy of IGN, after a huge battle that has occurred, the Guardians have managed to get their hands on an artifact that has untold amounts of power locked inside of it.

As for "Tangled Up in Blue", this launch trailer tees up an exciting new expansion in the Guardians lore, and we understand Telltale has drafted in a relatively familiar mix of voice talent to bring those characters to life. From Earth to the Milano to Knowhere and beyond, this five-part episodic series puts you in the rocket-powered boots of Star-Lord in an original Guardians adventure.
