During his visit to Seoul, which is about 182 miles from the launch site of the latest missile, Vice President Pence is expected to issue a warning to Kim Jong Un's regime that North Korea would face strong consequences if the country's provocative behavior was not stopped.

North Korea conducts nearly 90 percent of its trade with China, including exports of coal, iron ore and zinc, along with seafood and textiles.

Trump has repeatedly said he will prevent Pyongyang from developing a nuclear-tipped ballistic missile capable of reaching the mainland United States.
