MAURICIO POCHETTINO says Dele Alli never ceases to amaze him after the England star helped Tottenham tighten their grip on second in the Premier League.

Vincent Janssen will be hoping for a run of games but I think we'll see Hueng-min Son leading the line up front tomorrow.

The 20-year-old played a key role as Spurs coped without Harry Kane to secure all three points against Claude Puel's side, including a confidently-taken penalty to take his top-flight tally for the season to 14.

"Dele Alli always can surprise and you can't guess with him", Pochettino said. "He has an unbelievable personality and character and it is all possible with him", Pochettino said. "Maybe one day he plays as a goalkeeper, full-back or centre back!"

"I have calmed down a bit but it's important, I'm never going to take that out of my game".

Gabbiadini's exit was a cruel blow but the goal was very much of Southampton's own making as three players made a mess of trying to clear before Alli nicked the bouncing ball ahead of Steven Davis and was brought down.

Dave Chappelle explains why 'Key & Peele' hurts his feelings
In an interview with Gayle King on " CBS This Morning " on Monday, the comedian opened up about his issue with the show. I didn't know him that well, but the times that we hung out were fun and very memorable and often amusing .

Pochettino, who left his job as Southampton manager to come to Tottenham in 2014, told the club's website afterwards: "At 2-0, we conceded a goal and allowed them to believe they could get a result, we didn't kill the game off so it was always open. He had some chances to score, great movement, he connected with Dele and Christian (Eriksen) and I am very pleased with his performance", he said.

Considering how long Tottenham fans waited for Georges-Kevin N'Koudou to be official unveiled as a Spurs player, with negotiations dragging on and on, you would think they had signed a world-beater. "I can not see the difference".

"No I enjoy playing in the number 10 but I'm happy to play anywhere in this team", Alli said.

"It's frustrating because we can do better, but we played a strong game against second in the table and played at a good level". "We controlled everything until our second goal".

Claude Puel lost his own star striker when Manolo Gabbiadini hobbled off in the 32nd minute - the Italian is now a doubt to join up with his national team over the global break. "Lately we've been in good form, scoring lots of goals and they have played a part in us achieving that".
